Is it just me, or does this changing weather have you thinking of summer too? There are some projects that are just easier and more enjoyable during the summer months. Like this update from Sam on an activity she participated in this summer!
This summer, a group of us from Pierce County team including ASL (Adult Supported Living), CES (Community Employment Services), and Training got together and spent a day volunteering for Habitat for Humanity. We received exciting news that we would be digging holes and mixing concrete to prepare a fence for one of the houses that were getting ready to build. Though it was challenging work, we all pulled together and worked very hard. The teamwork that happened that day was incredible to see and as a bonus we got to meet the women who will be receiving the house!
That’s all for now!
