Alma’s nomination stood out with strong examples of Fiscal Responsibility, which is also represented by the three separate times Alma has been nominated for this value.

Below are excerpts from her nomination:

“Alma is part of a program that provides a lot of support services to clients. While it would seem like there is a lot of funding for support services, the fluctuation in contract income can change at any time. I’ve witnessed Alma on multiple occasions shopping around to find the same or similar products requested to ensure we are being fiscally responsible with our contract funding.

Aside from support services, she is consistently reviewing charges for accuracy, questioning anything that looks off, and troubleshooting when questions around financial charges come up. Alma recently found a discrepancy in the total tax percentage being charged to Service Alternatives by a vendor and worked directly with them to ensure we received accurate invoices moving forward.”
