INFORMED RESPONSE™ is a Trauma Informed Care (TIC) training, which is a strengths-based service delivery approach that is grounded in an understanding of, and responsiveness to, the impact of trauma.

Trauma is psychological, biological, and physical reaction to extreme stress that is caused by an experience, series of events, or circumstances that are perceived by an individual as extremely harmful or threatening to themselves or somebody close to them. Trauma involves long lasting negative effects on multiple parts of a person’s life and functioning.
