Foundations of Emotional Intelligence is a leadership training designed to introduce participants to the four key categories of emotional intelligence (EQ): self-awareness, self-management, social awareness, and relationship management. This course provides a deep dive into the essential skills that underpin effective leadership and interpersonal success.
Participants will explore the role of values in decision-making, learning how to apply the Johari Window model for self-awareness, and increase their capacity for self-control through targeted stress management techniques. The training also emphasizes the importance of empathy and social awareness, providing tools and strategies to enhance these competencies in the workplace.
Additionally, participants will expand their communication skills by practicing active listening and applying the Cycle of Reflecting model to examine mistakes and successes. By the end of the course, participants will have a solid foundation in emotional intelligence and a set of practical tools they can immediately apply in both their personal and professional lives.
Foundations of Emotional Intelligence is available through attending a pre-scheduled training session, scheduling an onsite session, or as a Train-the-Trainer model, allowing your organization to integrate this knowledge into your training programs.
