Promoting First Relationships® is a powerful, practical program that not only develops loving, nurturing parent-child relationships, it lays the foundation for your child to succeed in all aspects of their life: socially, emotionally, behaviorally, and cognitively. 

By participating, you will learn to:  

  • Support your child's healthy development of self 
  • Understand the social and emotional needs of your child and ways to meet these needs 
  • Recognize and respond sensitively to your child's nonverbal cues 
  • Learn ways to respond to meet the needs of your child and to decrease challenging behavior 
  • Regulate your own emotions 
  • Promote a mutually enjoyable relationship with your child.
