Reinforcing your strengths to succeed in preserving your family.

Are you feeling challenged to keep your family together?  Are you struggling to safely keep your children in your home?  Are you fearing that your children may be at risk of being placed out of your home?  We can help.  Family Preservation Services (FPS) are aimed at reinforcing the strengths of your family to safely keep children in your own home and community. Additionally, it is to prevent out of home placement, or to expedite the earlier safe return of children from out of home care.

Our therapists will work with you to identify your unique strengths and your unique challenges.  We will design and customize services to empower your problem solving, self-sufficiency, and assist you with strengthening your connection to available community resources.

You will experience respectful, collaborative, hopeful, and helpful coaching to promote healthy outcomes for your family.  As a partner with you to preserve your family we will help you identify and implement parenting techniques that address your risks, challenges, and individual parenting styles.

“Our therapist was very helpful and is very approachable and is a great support for our family.”

Family, FPS Client
“The FPS service that was provided proved to be more helpful than I thought it would be. Not only did the provider help me with getting a planner to keep up with appointments but helped me with court documents for a parenting plan, documents for waiver of fees for court documents, took me over to the courthouse more than once, and helped me with organizing my apartment as well as purchased items I needed to get organized. We sat and worked on the documents together and were able to get the papers filed and the father served. My provider also helped me find a great daycare for my kids. My provider was very easy to talk to and really helped me feel like I wasn’t alone as a single mother of two kids. I am very thankful for this service.”
