This Supported Living Update meets 6 hours of Continuing Education credits for employees in our Adult Residential Services programs.

Positive Behavior Support is an approach that can help a person overcome a pattern of problem behaviors by focusing on teaching the individual safer, easier, and more effective ways to get needs and wants met. This training focuses on looking at an individual’s behaviors holistically, identifying and teaching appropriate replacement behaviors, and creating ways to reinforce positive behaviors. A strength-based approach is emphasized.

Please Note: This is now an in-person, one-day class.
