INFORMED RESPONSE™ is focused on Trauma Informed Care (TIC), a strengths-based approach that emphasizes understanding and responding to the impact of trauma. In this session you will explore the various types and causes of trauma and learn how trauma affects an individual’s thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. You will gain practical skills for recognizing trauma-related reactions, and you will learn how to create a supportive, trauma-informed environment that promotes safety, trust, and empowerment for those in your care. Additionally, the workshop will provide tools for self-care, helping you maintain a trauma-informed approach in your work. This workshop is essential for anyone looking to enhance their ability to support individuals who have experienced trauma.
