Elizabeth’s nomination is a wonderful example of excellence in action. She received nominations by both a staff member and a client – a meaningful example of the impact she makes every day. Notably, a client she supports reached out to a team member to request that Elizabeth be recognized for the outstanding support she provides.

The client shared:

“Elizabeth is always on time, always available when I need her and does excellent work. She’s my right hand, if I didn’t have her and my dog it would be difficult for me to have the motivation to get out of bed. She knows me well and knows what I need and how to support me. She is a perfectionist. She’s an incredibly hard worker and always makes me or my needs a priority. She’s very organized and I appreciate that at times she holds me accountable. Sometimes I think that Elizabeth knows me better than I know myself. She’s had a big positive impact on my life. She represents what a true leader is and helps train my other staff with my support needs.”

The staff member also shared:

“At a recent meeting with a nurse delegate where staff were being delegated on a task for a client, Elizabeth took the lead and showed each staff how to complete the delegated task and provided details that clarified the many steps of the task for her coworkers in order to minimize potential negative impacts on the client. She provides training to other staff who support the client since the client has recently moved. Elizabeth has excellent communication with her clients, fellow staff, and supervisors. She exhibits excellence with always prioritizing client needs and communicating issues with her team and supervisors to ensure excellent supports are being provided to clients. She exhibits excellence with her attention to detail in every part of her job and is so deserving of recognition for the overall excellent quality of supports she provides to Service Alternatives clients and team.”

These are beautiful examples of how Elizabeth consistently demonstrates excellence in her dedication, leadership and support with the clients and staff members she works with.
