I am pleased to announce the SA Value Award Recipient for Community for September, 2024!

Congratulations to Tera Hill,  Direct Support Professional in Residential Services!

Our services provide the support, belonging, and connection central to a meaningful life.  Tera Hill received several nominations speaking to the many ways Tera embodies this core value in her daily work, making it a natural part of her route as she supports clients in meaningful and enriching ways.

“Tera goes above and beyond in the care she provides to clients, consistently looking for opportunities to integrate clients into the community. Tera works thoroughly to plan trips step by step from shuttle reservations to setting up salon appointments for clients.  Tera assists a client with low mobility that requires more extensive attention to get up and moving. They take the shuttle to run arrands, have lunch at the local Mexican restaurants and get the client’s nails done, all in the same day!  Tera has a motivating, positive attitude, ready everyday to positively impact clients’ lives by paying close attention to their likes and interests, coordinating and following through with outings from start to finish.”
“Tera understands the profound impact that community involvement has on both personal growth and social harmony. She works tirelessly to ensure her client not only has access to local events, programs, and activities but also plays an active role within them. Her approach is not just about the presence- it’s about cultivating genuine relationships and interactions that help her client develop friendships, skills, and confidence.”
