Congratulations to Lindsay Brown, Administrative Assistant in Community Services! |
I am pleased to announce that she is the SA Value Award Recipient for Fiscal Responsibility for August 2023! |
Fiscal Responsibility means our sound financial management today empowers the services we’ll deliver and the lives we’ll change tomorrow.
The nomination for Lindsay Brown demonstrates how Lindsay grounds fiscal practices in her day-to-day responsibilities in a consistent, disciplined way. It specifically stood out as it describes how Lindsay balances her work, creates on-going plans to keep track and account for fiscal information and delivers excellence consistently. The nomination states:“Lindsay does the income reports for much of Community Services statewide and also maintains her own workload with personnel files and accounts payable within the regional service area. She is very detail oriented and does an excellent job of tracking and maintaining all income reports. She is very organized in how she goes about making sure each region is done the same way and to perfection. I am always in awe how she manages it all because income is not in my wheelhouse! Lindsay has also taken the time to train a backup person and is always training and changing her procedures to meet the demand of income and making sure everyone understands and has clear expectations. Youth Community Services would be lost without her fiscal responsibility to track down missing income and make sure there are not overpayments. We are very fortunate to have Lindsay on our team as well as part of SA.” The final statement in the nomination says it all:“I appreciate and respect her work ethic and integrity, thank you Lindsay for always being the support we need!” Thank you, Lindsay, for your work ethic and integrity being an integral part of managing financial information to ultimately empower the services we deliver today and the lives we’ll change tomorrow. |
